6) Environment Canada’s National Water Research Institute (NWRI) puts out a newsletter intended to forge better links between water scientists and water policy-makers. This free newsletter provides timely information on the research activities of NWRI to water professionals, policy decision makers, governments, and other groups involved with managing water resources effectively. 8) "Eau Canada - The future of Canada's water" has now been published and is a must read. In addition to picking up the book you may want to visit the website: www.eaucanada.ca. You will notice that there is an “Action Centre” page. You can send suggestions of action items to be posted. Examples might include the ongoing hearings on oil and gas development in Alberta, upcoming events and conferences, forthcoming publications, or ongoing campaigns.
