GIS Animation

The quicktime movies were made with aerial photographs taken in 1986 and 1997 in Nopiming Provincial Park in Eastern Manitoba. They show the impact of clear-cut logging on the Boreal Forest.

The aerial photos were purchased from the maps branch of Manitoba Conservation, 1007 Century Street in Winnipeg. They were scanned into digital form and animated using Adobe Imageready.
