Eco-Volunteer Program
Make change rather than $$$ - become a volunteer for one of our member groups working on environmental or social reform issues. Get involved with like-minded individuals in your community who are working to promote environmental sustainability!
WHAT'S THE CONCERN?
All over Manitoba, everyday, short-term decision-making is creating long-term problems. In the name of increased profits, and economic growth, natural habitats are being destroyed and resources squandered. Clearly, we're jeopardizing our future for the quick fix now!
BE PART OF THE SOLUTION:
Join the many people in your community who share a different vision and prefer to conserve natural resources to balance our varying needs with respect for the earth and its eco-systems.
If you have environmental concern, personal initiative, time on your hands, skills to share or an eagerness to learn, chances are there's a group that could use your help!
Choose the level of involvement which best suits your current interest - and the amount of time you have available. Check our listing of volunteer opportunities on our Jobs/Volunteer page.
Call 947-6511 or e-mail us at info@mbeconetwork.org and get involved!
